Tulip growing in Lahore

Pls share your experiences to grow tulips in Lahore.

To day another tulip bloomed. It is double flower and take about 7 weeks to bloom from sowing. Flower is >3 inches and plant height is 15 inches.

Today, I dig out Tulip white dream started to drying after 5 weeks from flowering. Bulb Dia is 2.5 inch (1 inch > than purchased) and may consisting next year leafs, flower bud and visible smaller daughter bulb attached. What comes in next year from its developed embryo and how it can be stored till November, any one have experience?
I wrapped plant in news paper and kept temporary at dry place.

Total active life cycle of this tulip cultivar is less than three months (chilling period is unknown, 2 weeks to emerge, 4-5 weeks growing to flower, 4 weeks to drying /bulb development). Both bulb found in division and both detached carefully. Double pink has more big bulbs.
Is it all due to new cultivar technology ? or bulbs were treated special, will prove next year growth.
