10 hyacinths, one placed in water jar in a dark cupboard on 25 Nov just out of lack of patience and on the premise that it was pre chilled as per vendor.
Rest 9 are chilling in Refrigerator for use in pots and water jars as per the forum advices of Khabbab Bhai and Syed Adnan Sahib. Potting soil will be sand, leaf compost and bhal in 1/3rds.
However, i suspect the one placed now has developed fungus on its base
For glads would be using the same potting soil but the corms are only about 1 to 1.5 inches in size and Sir Arif says its not worth the wait [emoji847]but anyways any guidance will be appreciated.
For Allium Gladiator, again forum experience says that its hard to bloom in lahore region. So have kept it in refrigerator too till i get some guidance.
Regards

This is the closeup of base of hyacinth. The edge has developed greenish spots. It was perfect previously.

water should not touch the base... use sulfur powder or any fungicide to eliminate the fungus..

Thanks Sir Izhar. But i made sure that the water should be below the bulb. Will try the sulphur powder method.

Glads are very easy... just give them full sun and good drainage...
