Other Details Blue jacaranda is claimed to be the most beautiful tree in the world and it is rightly so. In the flowering season, when the tree is almost devoid of leaves, it is simply covered with purple flowers. This gives a spectacular view to the scenary. However Jacaranda is a huge tree, so should only be grown in large gardens, keeping in ming that it will simply grow more than 30 feet. It is a relatively slow growing tree and initially needs lots of care. Jacaranda is also available in Karachi but not very well known. Simply avoid overwatering the plant. Jacaranda does not like windy locations and the new delicate leaves are readily damaged by wind which stunts its growth. Jacaranda looks very similar to Delonix regia, i.e. flame of the forest tree but it both belong to different families. Photo reference Wikipedia
