Other Details | Nymphaea or commonly called waterlily is an aquatic plant that thrives in the areas of moderate climates, Waterlily proliferates very fast if given the right conditions, the growth usually excels in the months of monsoons, the flower is very hard almost hard rubber like and by touch it feels as if it is something artificial popping out of the water. The blooms come in a variety of shades and colors including purplish blue which is highly prized. Blooms are slightly fragrant, flowers remain open for 2 days and then die. The plant flowers from fall to spring, in hot summer months the plant goes dormant. Propagation is by root ball/rhizome division |
