Conratulaions is a repeat flowering hybrid tea rose. KBW i mistakenly posted picture of this rose instead of Maid honor. This is very robust grower, the flowers are so big in size & perfect spiral buds as we see in any hybrid tea rose.
Anvil sparks is a great hybrid tea but its not fragrant rose.

122 - Jacques Cartier

Image
Picture contributed by aykhan from his collection of roses in Lahore.

Common Name: Jacques Cartier
Other Names: Marchesa Boccella, Marquise Boccella
Type: Damask Perpetual, Hybrid Perpetual, Portland
Bred by: Jean Desprez (France, 1842). Bred by Robert and Moreau (France, 1868).
Description:
Light pink. Strong fragrance. up to 70 petals. Average diameter 3.5". Very full (41+ petals), rosette bloom form. Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.
Height of 3' to 5' (90 to 150 cm). Width of up to 3' (up to 90 cm).
USDA zone 4b and warmer. Shade tolerant. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.

Explorer Jacques Cartier died at the age of 65 on January 1, 1557.
Mike Lowe says Jacques Cartier is a Damask Perpetual and assigns it a date of 1868...
Some say the rose sold as 'Jacques Cartier' is really 'Marchesa Boccella' . There is also some difference of opinion about raiser. [See References]
Due to confused labeling, the rose now grown as 'Jacques Cartier' must be exhibited as 'Marchesa Boccella' in American Rose Society rose shows. However, the correct original name of the rose was 'Marquise Boccella'.
