KBW's Comments
Rhapsody in Blue has performed very well in hot weather. It keeps flowering even in the hottest days of the month though the flower size is small. In cool weather, one is blessed with clusters of purple coloured flowerd which have a bluish tinge. I won't call it blue at all, it is purple. Some of the pics given on the web show a very bluish shade. I have seen many RIB bushes here in Pakistan and all were purple in colour, not blue. May the pics shown on the net are photoshopped or the climate is very different.... whatever. Regardless of the shade, it is a very strongly recommended rose for hot climate of Pakistan.

rafique bhai, it will be a bit hectic but it can be done at a steady pace and within a fortnight I believe, we should have a fairly comprehensive data base on rose identification, comprising of roses which are commonly found in Pakistan. :)

Rafique's Comments - 15 Oct 13

Red Edin Rose
Good heat resistant. Straight upright stems intese fragrance which decreased alot in heat but flower size reduce slightly. Good number of petals. Vase life of summer flowers is more compare to remain on plant, better to remove semi bloomes with larger stems and place them in vase in summer. Good for vases.
