This picture is of a young bush at my home in Okara which was planted in March 2013. During the hot dry period in June and July, I provided some shade to the young bush and it survived pretty well. The bush is still small in size, so is the bloom. However, noticeable thing was the intensity of the scent which remained quite strong. During this hot period when the scent of most of the other roses had drastically reduced or in certain cases was hardly there, Golden Celebration was still strongly fragrant. Members may like to take a note of this outstanding quality of Golden Celebration with regard to its performance in hot climates. Just save it from scorching sun and heat and it will do very well. When the bush is well established (as the one shown in Changa Nursery pic), it will take care of itself.

Very strongly recommended for hot dry climates. Planting in pots is NOT RECOMMENDED.

Pictures: Above four pics were taken by me in Niagara Park, Canada on 14 Oct 13.

AWARDS: One of the 15 roses so far Inducted in ROSE HALL OF FAME. Inducted in 1976.

KBW's CommentsYou can clearly see the variation in the bloom colour. The pictures of peace growing at Umar sb's place in Islamabad is sort of lemon yellow with red tinge. Pictures of peace growing in Niagara have a cream colour with a pink tinge; one of the flowers has a yellow colour though. Climate and soil does make a lot of difference to bloom colour and shades may differ from area to area.

Guy Savoy has grown phenomenally in hot weather. Though the size and quality of bloom drastically reduced in temps over 40* C, there was no visible affect on the bush, as you can see in the pics. Highly recommended.

During hot weather (as you can see in the pics above), the quality of bloom gets seriously affected and rhere is almost no scent but this is the problem with most roses not Cherry Parfait alone. Good thing is that it keeps getting flushes of bloom all year round.

@UMARKHANMARDAN
Sir, Please confirm the Id of following roses.

Peace

Handel
http://www.helpmefind.com/rose/pl.php?n=13052

While going through the sites quoted above, I noticed that the roses shown there look different from the rose shown in your pictures. This is another problem that I am facing. Some of the roses, quoted with same name on different sites, have different shades / colours!!
