Weed is an invasive unwanted plant. Identifying weeds is the first step towards their eradication from unwanted place.

If you are new to seed sowing, one problem which is faced when you sow seed in situ is these weeds coming up which confuse you whether it’s the plant you sowed or a weed.. This post will help you identify unwanted guests. Following are some common weeds in our lawns and Garden(this is an incomplete list)

EXCELLENT, the next step is how to get rid of them,
Bind weed has deep roots/suckers, keep removing as they appear and over years they would be gone
Some grasses have to be removed every year manually. Dallia/Moork is a real problem, any tried effective measures for it?
How effective are the weed killers?

I thought of adding seedling image, weed behaviour and eradication method of each weed but it was becoming cumbersome display wise. I will try to do that.... Members can help us with their experience as Sir Arif has suggested.

If we had an option of 'Like' on the forum..... super likes for this post from my side... these weeds give a backache in a newly planted garden.. although labor intensive method but i have only used hand weeding and weekly removal of these weeds will greatly reduce their population within 2 two months... for weeds which have become big and require more force to pull them up are given small volume of concentrated solution of urea/DAP directly on their base and they wilt within 2-3 hours..

I have observed that in case of many grasslike weeds, its of no use to remove visible part, and weeds keep coming up. The only way out is to remove the deep rooted rhizomes.
Another aspect of getting rid off weeds is to not let them flower. If they flower, its becomes very difficult to control because of very good seed dispersal/count.

Do you have a picture? And to which language does the word "khbazi" belong? Once we know that, finding the answer would be easy!
