Other Details | English Daisies have long been popular for spring bedding, particularly in mild winter regions. Plants are biennial and annuals, usually lasting through one season, but self-seeding to provide future generations. This strain features especially large blooms, the white petals are curled or “quilled”, with striking red tips. Removing faded flowers regularly will keep plants blooming well . these are excellent anywhere in the garden, as well as in containers or tubs. This tidy plant produces small basal clumps of semi-evergreen leaves of light to medium green. The 'Habanera Mix' showcases a colorful mix of the members in the Habanera Series. Valued for its many large, fully double daisies that have distinctly long quilled tips, flowers can be any of white, rose, magenta-red or bicolored. These appear from winter through spring . |
