Other Details | Baby sunrose has highly attractive aster like flowers. The best usage of baby sunrose is perhaps in hanging baskets where the hanging fleshy stems, terminated by a red flower, add beauty to the garden. Flowers open during the bright hours of the day (midday to early afternoon). It can also be grown as a ground cover or in rock garden. The plant requires well drained soil otherwise the stems rot very easily and plant dies quickly. It is a pest free plant and very easy to maintain otherwise. Some Arfican cultures use this plant for medicinal purposes. Image by M. Munir |
