| Other Details | This vine belongs to the family of periwinkle (sada bahaar), and Plumeria (champa). This vine has beautiful light green glossy leaves and the bright yellow flowers. Given that it is a vigorous climber it can easily overcome any nearby tree. It needs good support to flourish and bloom profusely. Wild Allamanda is a common vine in Pakistani gardens and often sold by this name. However true Allamanda is discussed in a separate entry (see Allamanda). The plant is drought-tolerant; suitable for xeriscaping. Avoid over-watering.
