Hello:
I am a doctor and live in Bela which is 180 kms away from Karachi. I grow pretty much everything which can be grown in dry, hot conditions. I have special interest in water gardens and very soon I am planning to establish one of my own and that is one of the reasons I joined the forum. I have been reading printed material and internet for years and know a little bit about gardening but the information source has been mostly foreign and I am hoping that on this forum I will be able to gain some first hand knowledge from people who have experience of gardening in our climatic conditions.
Happy gardening and thanks.

Welcome Dr. Sahib
I am sure there are quite a few members here who have experience of growing vegetables and fruit trees.
Just to add I have been to Bela few times and I know that there are some fruit gardens as well along side the river, but i also know that there is acute shortage of water as well, right plants and trees as per the water availability and climatic conditions will definitely give you the required results. Best of Luck.
