Seed Bank Project

I am thinking how about creating a seed bank of various plants that can be shared with members for promoting gardening.
What rough outline i have is that whenever we grow some plant, we are able to collect large quantities of seeds. I am not talking of sharing exotic or branded seeds to start with, but whatever we have surplus/ordinary for us lying waste in our seeds banks.
For instance i have reasonable quantities of spring/summer annuals that might not be of much use to me in that quantity.
Similarly we can include vegetables seeds as well.
We can give away these to members who are interested in growing these varieties. All members can contribute with whatever they can willingly. No compulsions based on volunteer basis.
To start with we need a centralized person who will be be taking charge of these seeds in terms of collection from members,storage and dispatch. I propose khabbab or Tahir Bhai, if They are willing, as they are located in center also.
I purpose that initially for few months we focus on collecting seeds so that we have a handsome bank quantity wise. From there on we display the list of available seeds on forum that members can ask for.
Member asking for seeds maybe asked two things. He/she has to pay for postage( to avoid burden on an individual/this is optional), and in time he/she has to give some/any seeds to the seed bank so that it maintains its health. Like blood donation
Just a suggestion..............if forum agrees on the suggestion i have reasonable quantity of cool season annuals etc to start with.
There may come a time, that our Bank is so healthy and rich that everything is available. Evens bulbs maybe. Thats the beauty of plants they multiply by sharing.
