Munir sahab or anyone else interested, you can do ONE favour if you wish to. Email us just the pictures at pakistan.flora@yahoo.com with name of your plant. Rest of the job is ours. I am running out of my own pictures (all of us are NOT lifting pictures from the internet) and I am thousands of miles away from my own garden :-).

munir wrote:Well done Farhan & team for a thunderous start of this venture, opening the flood gate to enteries.
I sugges inclusion of following two more separate headings, though these have been covered in Description in some of the enteries:
.... Type of Plant ie,vine, bush etc. etc.
.... Size of a Mature Plant ie,height, width etc.
Farhan Ahmed wrote:Agreed. What say you mods?

if agreed Rafique Sb you can add different fields. I hope Rafique Sb you are have seen the form and how it can be modified. If not let me know to make the requisite changes....whatever fields you people finalize.
Farhan Ahmed wrote:Or if you guys are using template.....Rafique SB you can study daves garden/BHG plant description and add other fields into the template. These include height/spread......and type of plant

Following is updated output of template. Please Review all Fields and Finalize.
After mutual agreement i will update the template and then form accordingly.

Local Name in Urdu
Common Name Blue Passion flower
Life Cycle Ever green
Cultivar Name N/A
Category N/A
Height N/A
Spacing N/A
Flowering Months Summer
Flower Color Purple
Growing Areas Tropical areas
Frost Tender Yes
Exposure Full sunlight, may tolerate partial shade
Soil pH pH tolerant, no issues known

Other Details Blue passion flower is very unique in terms of its flower shape. It is called "passion" due to religious reasons (since it resembles the crown of thorns). It is a vine which climbs with the help of tendrils. Usually it will climb a nearby tree, which also damages the tree because to lack of sunlight. No specific pests known. Flowers are not fragrant but extremely showy. It is worth having in a garden.

The table looks good to me. So rafique sb could you write initial steps, once you have the sample template posted? After opening your sample template post, click edit, and then cut paste the text into a new thread? Is this right?

Farhan bs, can you share the link of your pictures and secondly do they have the names? I will have to start from a given name to find further info.

Thanks
