I didnt pull out my liliums from the ground last year, they have all sprouted by the stem is weaker and sort of frilly comapared to when they were planted last year as imported bulbs, they are almost a foot tall now, i am not expecting much from them.

So what i understand, they are planted in fall preferably, after refrigeration period

Here are the first lilies to bloom this year.These are all old bulbs which were first planted last year, the baby bulbs have also flowered, i pulled off a couple of scales from the mother bulb and planted them along with the mother bulbs, these scales formed new bulbs and a couple of them have flowered this year. I must say i am not at all disappointed with the flowers, some of these are as splendid as the last year flowers.Ill upload more pictures as more lilies bloom.

when did u plant these bulb that gives u flowers in this month.i have lillium plnt but they r dead.no single stemp:(
