Post by Adeel Rehman »

Here is what I have currently in My Garden.

2- Banana two different types, the tree grows max 7 fts, I bought them from Nursery of HEJ department of KU few years back.
3- English Rose (Near to dead now :( )
4- Chanbeli
5- Some other flowery plants (Don't know the exact names)

Few years back I planted Lemon, it give small lemons but are of very good taste, unfortunately it's no more with me.

On the backside of my home I also have two types of Mangos which didn't fruit this year b/c of fungus :(.

Looks like problems galore? :o

Don't worry. You'll get the hang of it and everything will then be according to you! Lemons do well in karachi. Mangoes i've seen in some places too: depends on the variety i think regarding fruiting here. Banana should do splendid, and its rose season so pamper it and it will respond!

Good luck :D

Mangos do very well in Karachi. In three years a grafted plnt in my house at Mauripur grew as big as it would have in 12 years in lahore and it fruited profusely.
