Silvery Plant in Blooms

I am fascinated by this silvery plant(name ??), in full bloom these days; by the purple colour & the overall setting of the flowers in the silvery branches- hope you like it too:

Munir sb i really love this shrub & for the enjoyment i specially visit the Kalsoom saifullah bridge where the CDA authrities have planted it in the centre of the road(Divider).this shrub is really facinating dear.

Munir sb it is called Atriplex hamilus, or silver dust. I was thinking about creating an entry of this plant but I didn't have decent pictures. The plant is really unique in its leaves...
