Gardenia is in dormancy, dont add any fertilizer or any other chemical.. Ferous sulfate is only beneficial in actively growing plants...
Granules can be soaked in night and they will dissolve easily in morning... use this solution... its easy, cheap and works great!! (I have a 15 litre plastic bucket, I add 2 tablespoon NPK in it to water my plants)
Potassium sulfate works best just before the plant is about to set blooms, your Freesia is ready.... use half concentration of what you use for NPK for every 15 days..
MUST try the Ash experiment...
