Believe me ... It's one for your kids ... you shud be glad that you aren't growing brunsvigia from seed.It'd take 12-15 years to bloom.

My medium is common garden soil with added sand in 5:1 ratio to increase the drainage..

Means I should go with 4:2 sand coz your soil already carries lots of sand paricles.

Yes indeed, the 'Bhal' you use is more compact then the 'Baloo matti' used in the southern part of our country..

Are these south african bulbs perennial in Lahore? Our climate varies so much with cold, dry heat and intense humidity and monsoon. It could be a challenge to get these things to bloom.

Most of these would have no problem growing here.tleast they are hardier than kniphofias,clematis,eremurus,iris etc...They have a better chance than dutch bulbs.With slight modifications to the soil media, most of these would find themselves very happy.

Sold them.Next consignment comming in January and then a very rare one in February.
