Ferraria Crispa - Star Fish Iris Blooms
First day there was one flower
Second Day, there was one
Third Day there were three
Fourth day, 5 blooms ...
You wouldn't notice when the buds will pop up or die back. It's all magical. No trace of flower left after the it has finished blooming.

Very unique. I'll try this next year. They're winter blooming right? Let us know if they survive the Lahore summer!

This is Ferraria Crispa Nortieri.I have black ones as well as ferraria crista white (Vanilla scented). They are too small to flower.I had already sold the mature ones so I believe they must be flowering some where else. These corms were bought last MAY meaning these are both summer as well as winter hardy.

The plant itself is very strange. You visit your garden one day and you notice nothing special.Next day you walk in and you find a spider sitting on top of your ferraria's leaves.
No flowering spike, looks as if the spider is sitting on top of leaves.Still unsure if flower opens for only a single day or comes back again the next day.
