Beautiful. Rafique, are they a common sight there & you took the pictures as they came across or you had to specially search for them? Whatever, a great effort & photography.

Well done. During my visit to shogran, specially on the way to siri and pai, i found Arisaema triphyllum (jack in the pulpit) growing wild there. Good medicinal uses. Achillea was a common sight near all shogran hotels. Good photography too.

Brig Sahib's comment is spot on. Lol.
Nice photographs and a commendable effort. Interestingly some of these flowers also grow naturally in the Deosai plains and it's quite a sight to a carpet of flowers growing in extreme climatic conditions of Deosai. Perhaps the moderators may consider shifting these invaluable photos to Pakistan Flora section.

Sir few of them are common .More than 90% came across while trekking from paye to makra peak. There are variations while you cover the distance. I just went upto the base of makra not at top. I am sure there are many more while you move ahead.Munir wrote:Beautiful. Rafique, are they a common sight there & you took the pictures as they came across or you had to specially search for them?
