Assalamualaikum. There's something I want to ask on this forum and I need a response asap. I live in Karachi where temperatures are sky-rocketing nowadays. It made me want to plant loads of trees locally along roads. Could you please advise me as to what trees would be easier to plant in this heat on a big scale; also those that require least amount of care.

Conocarpous is the best choice..

Isnt conocorpous not indigenous and uses lots of water, kind of in the same category as euclyptus

This is just a negative propaganda... there are no ill effects of cocnocarpous in scientific studies... it is very suitable for Karachi, where the rainfall is very little and environment is harsh for greenery... for other places which receive good rainfall, one must plant local indigenous trees...
