SOLARIZATION of SOIL for Container Gardening

This year i have started the technique called SOLARIZATION for my Container Garden, it is simple technique and it works well to kill fungi, bacteria, nematodes, insect , pests along with weed seed and seedlings :
1. Cover the soil or containers with plastic sheet.
2. No gap or breach is allowed. No air should eneter so as to maintain temperature inside.
3. Should be done in hot summers. i monitored the temperture it crossed 60 Celsius in few minutes under hot sun.
4. Effective upto 6 inch deep soil.
5. i used to keep max. 6 inch soil in the containers while using this technique.
6. This technique is good for "re-using" the old soil in containers.
7. Can be equally effective on Gaden soil as well.
8. There is info availabe on youtube and internet regarding "SOLARIZATION".
I will share the results as things proceed.
