Tamarind

I got a gift of Sweet Tamarind (Imly), I liked it so planted the seeds. The one in my house is over 12 feet high and others in the care of Malies are half the size.

When should I expect it to fruit?

5-6 years.. then non-stop throughout the year...

Good news in onother two years and I get the fruit. Will it fruit in Lahore climate?

I got sweet tamarind from islamabad fruit mandi. I have its seeds. It s very tasty so I want to grow it. Can I grow it in Ialamabad from seeds?

other factors to considers
It might not come true
It fails to fruit in Islo climate
4-5 years wait

I ve never seen any tamarind in Punjab fruiting but in Karachi.
