Bringing shade to a street

Post by Haris.aziz » March 25th, 2018, 1:14 pm

Assalamualaikum

I am planning on bringing shade to my street (and eventually to every street) and the houses in it. By reading this forum I think conocarpus is best for Islamabad (E11). Only question is. I want to plant them alongside the edges of the street. By chopping a hole in the street. Would that be easily possible?

Another question. If you go to F6/F7, some roads are covered with a tree canopy. What trees are those?

I believe Corpuscular tree has serious environmental hazards. May be studied in detail before going ahead with its plantation.

Yes that's true about the environmental hazards. I saw a report. So that's why I've moved to planting indigenous trees. So fast growing shady indigenous trees anyone please?
