Averrhoa carambola (Star Fruit)

A beautiful shrubby tree, nice pink blooms with added advantage of interesting edible fruits, anyone growing it?

I am.Fruit is very sour.It's a 6-7 year old tree, thinking of digging it out.

sour???..... I have tasted it a number of times... all were mildly sweet...

The one I have is really sour.Flowers are tiny as well.
