AOA
I live in gulistan-e-johar and want to plant suitable fruit trees in my outdoor lawn (size is 2 metre x 8.5 metre, 1 ft deep with concrete base). I was planning to plant a guava/Amrood tree and a Ber/jujube tree. Is it good choice?
How fast do they grow into shade-providing trees (at least 2 metre tall) and when do they start fruiting?
How much water and maintenance do they need?
Please recommend any other small to medium sized shade-providing fruit trees suitable for Malir/Gulistan e Johar in Karachi which do not require too much space or water.

That's okay, does it provide shade for small lawns?
