Multinutrient Foliar spray

Post by Izhar » June 5th, 2012, 11:18 am

I came across a study on application of multinutrient foliar fertilizers on Okra plants:

http://www.sau.edu.pk/sau_journal/2011/ ... ull/02.pdf

I am NOT associated with any of the brands mentioned in the study but wanted to share, as the brand Super-Dawn was found to give better results. This product is available on the gardening shops at old subzi mandi @ Rs.150/-

Purpose of this was just to inform about the availability of an inexpensive product which can make plants healthy and increases yield..

Yes Khabbab bhai.. we are using expensive fertilizers for our plants, although the results are very good but the cost is a burden on our pockets...

Let me mention the ingredients of Super-Dawn for reference:

Nitrogen--------180,000 mg/ liter
Potash----------1500 mg/ liter
Magnesium------300 mg/ liter
Zinc------------900 mg/ liter
Boron-----------300 mg/ liter
Iron------------1500 mg/ liter
Copper----------10 mg/ liter
Manganese------100 mg/ liter
Molybdenum-----0.002 mg/ liter
Cobalt-----------0.002 mg/ liter

In that study Urea was added to it,
Perhaps form of phosphorus absorbable by leaves is not avaiable.
Let us try and see how it works.
