As I under stood extra Nitrogen was added to this product. In foliar spray the PPM of N is much higher as the quantity is low. A spray of 1% Urea is recommended for fruit trees after the fruit is formed. Now 1% Urea means4600PPM, N. Confused
and in one study 4% urea was used as foliar spray ... I think it has something to do with the form of nitrogen available like in from urea the nitrogen is in ammonium form.. due to its volatile nature, higher percentage of Urea is used... any comments??
