Carrot
Though I have read a lot about carrot but two things still confuses me that will the size of the carrot will be increased after it has gained red color? and Will the size of the carrot be drastically reduced in a container?

Re: Carrot
From what i have read, you can plant carrots in a container provided that the depth is at least 10 inches and space them at least 4 inches apart. I have tried to plant carrots in the ground but i fear i had nematodes problem or lack of sunlight in that particular area. This year i am planting them on the roof top in 5 gallon containers. The size however depends on the nutrition and conditions they have been provided in the earlier growth. Usually they reach maturity in 2 months or so. Red carrots are a different breed then orange ones.
