On another note, I request everyone to please give the productive life of the fruit trees that u have experienced or known about. It ll be more realistic and complement/contract(exceptions) the google searches

If you are refering to my statement "
Talha the googler, Filtering before commitment is very important. We also have a long experience of most fruiting trees, we were growing them before the Americans.

The white American history is only a fraction of just Lahore's history. As agriculturists we the Arians have an experience of thousands of years.
Please do not confuse progress with experience.
May be after a few decades you will understand what I am saying.

Talha you should visit Lahore's mughal era tombs and building, they have many very old fruiting trees... in Karachi there are some left in Gandhi Garden (planted in British era).. Ajwa is said to be planted by Prophet S.A.W, it is propagated by the suckers and very old trees are still present there.. seeing is believing..

Google searches show only the information which is uploaded by an individual or organization (mostly american then european).. many times the info does not make the picture clear in our part of the world, that is why we discus the personal experiences and observations of gardening here...

When Alexander invaded this region, Bananas were cultivated here, although we have a long experience in there cultivation we have not progressed to improve it's quality.
