How to grow moss in Karachi?

Very difficult ..needs low temperatures and high humidity... so a green house is required for its growth...

Some one recommend me that you can grow Java Moss.
People grow Java Moss in fish aquarium.Any one have it?

May just about be possible. Deep cool shade (maybe Jamman or Mango tree). A small pond with a fine fountain (aquarium fish shop carry the item) or maybe a cheap submersible Chinese plastic pump. Fill the pond with broken bricks, half fill it with water and let the fountain play over the bricks. I am quite sure a few spores floating around may settle on the cool surface of the bricks. As to which species, go look into the deep old wells of Malir farms.
Java moss and Java fern are available at Aquarium fish shops, if you go there Crypto, Amazon as a matter of fact, almost all aquarium plants are semi submersible. In the wild they follow the flood pattern of the Amazon jungle, full in then half out , then maybe for a few days out but then its a sauna there.

You can get the java moss from the aquarium market near passport office Saddar as well as from the aquarium market at Liquatabad das number (10 number).. Karachi's weather is nice for Amazon and Cryptocorynes to be grown in pots in semi-aquatic condition year round...

Its easy to grow Java moss in water real challenge is growing out side the water.
Amazon and Cryptocorynes are not growing around the container because they are too big.

All these plants follow the flood pattern of the area to which they belong. As long as you follow the flood pattern you can grow them out side water but what does flood pattern mean? It has to flood, then the flood has to go down, then it dries and then the cycle starts again. Dry is not complete dry, the rotting vegetation and organic material holds water well. Dry means swampy. So if you want to grow it as a palm or a cactus, well carry on. Enjoy yourself.
