allium pinball wizard- any experience to share?

I d be buying them if someone could assure me they'd grow here.Umm ... wouldnt they flower in winter or spring just like other annual bulbs do??? WHY WHY WHY!!!

On your visit to holland in july, do bring some alliums. I will tell you the species you get them to pakistan, i assure they will flower in lahore. And guess what do bring some Tulipa clusiana var. chrysantha, they should be perennial in lahore climate. I will be getting some lady tulips in fall hoping they will naturalize here

plant them in Early November and they will start to flower in late march or early April time.

I'll definitely consult you before leaving for Holland.Kindly keep compilling a list of such plants.You know what kinda plants I got taste for. :0) This winter we are gonna grow alliums for sure ... InshAllah.

The one species sure to flower in lahore is Allium tuberosum aka chinese chives though flowers are not as pretty as other giant alliums. Chiltern seeds are selling their bulbs in a cheap price, though not an ideal time to plant them in lahore right now. Would surely try in fall.

Society garlic sent blooms last month, here is the pic. Though flowers are small but precious addition to my summer blooming bulbs

A nurseryman told me that allium bulbs produce flowers here for the first season, they'll gradually get shorter n shorter in size.
