Re: drying of tomato's plant flower
Tomato blooms dry up and drop because of nutrient deficiency or excess heat, move the tomatoes to shade if they are in a container, if in ground put a green shade cloth over them, for further knowledge visit this thread.

Re: drying of tomato's plant flower
Tomatoes flowers will die and never produce fruit due to Nutrients deficiency epecially main deficiency of Phosporous and Potassium. Apply floar spray of liquid only having P and K nutrients only.

Re: drying of tomato's plant flower
Due to the rising temperatures the tomato is slowly moving towards its end, so it is no use growing it anymore because it will barely survive, plant new tomato seedlings or seeds in the mid of August, the right time for growing tomatoes in the potohar regionfarah fayyaz wrote:I too am facing almost da same problem.my tomato plant remains fresh and green but when it begins flowering then after some time its leaves wilt and die.some times they start rolling.no more fruit.just 2,3.I have planted them in containers(ghee canaster). To solve this problem i used npk fertilizer 5 days ago but no gain.i put 1 table spoon in 5 ltrs water and put in container and sprayed some on leaves.now what should i do.This problem is with almost other tomato plants also.

Re: drying of tomato's plant flower
Tomato needs moderate temperatures to grow along with some humidity, mid of August in that case is the best time. You can still grow tomatoes all year around in a green house where the tomato plants... the indeterminate ones will become perennial and will fruit for year or more.
