Repotting a Huge 20 feet tall Ficus Lyrata.
I have a Ficus Lyrata bought 25 years back. Kept potting it on and the last conatiner was the largest I could find: a 60" diameter clay pot. Now the roots of the tree have broken the pot to shreds and are running wild here and there. Also anchored in some nearby pots.MY problem: What and how to deal with rampant roots and how to repot this tree , in maybe a cement container.(This is too much of a hassle to remove the tree, place the container, lift the tree and put it in the container) Alternatively I think of constructing an brick enclosure around the "gachi" and fill it with sand and maure and gradually get rid of all rmapant roots. Badly need advice/suggestions. The tree is too pretty to loose and is in bloom even these days!

i think you have yourself given a good solution. Re-potting such a large plant will be an issue.
