Fayyaz or should I call you Arif, Any project that is profitable, every farmer goes for it. How is it that in-spite of repeated efforts to encourage its cultivation it has not caught up.
Depending upon the feasibility I can go for it, having all the required resources. looking forward to your advice.

Its not a bad option to go for mushroom farming as its market is available in pakistan but my humble advise to u is to learn it first as its cultivation is very technical (especially button mushroom). first give it a try at very small scale and then go for it commercially. Getting optimum yield requires expertise and if u do not manage to get optimum yield u will go in loss.

Aoa Mr Arsalan if ur novice in the field of mushroom cultivation then please don't go straight away for cultivation of button mushroom. I would advise u to first go for oyster mushroom cultivation and then switch to button mushroom cultivation. However if u r still interested in button mushroom cultivation, i can guide u.

Button mushroom cultivation involves long procedures, heavy investment and high labour requirements.

Beside all this availability of quality spawn in pakistan is still a major issue.
