Best time to purchase and transplant Petunia seedlings?

Hi. My attempt to sow Petunia from seeds (purchased from Awan Seeds Rwp) didn't succeed. What is the best time to purchase seedlings of Petunia and transplant them in pots and in ground in Rawalpindi? Any particular thing to look for while purchasing seedlings?

Hi Javed Ashraf sb pick Petunia seedlings after last week of DEC & first week of Jan when all danger of frost has passed.As they are tender annuals so they are treated as half hardy annuals.You may plant all half hardy annuals after first week of Jan.

Today I passed by nurseries on Peshawar road and I found that those nurseries have displayed the seedlings of Petunia for sale. I then called one of the nurseries wala and asked him about it. He said that this is the right time to get seedlings and transplant them in ground before the frost starts, i.e before December starts. Moreover he said if we delay it till mid Jan then it will be too late to get them bloom. I am confused as to what is the right time to transplant seedlings. Pl guide.

Hmm but i l tranplant mine after last week of Dec when no danger of further frost.

Same garden different annuals.Marigolds are in flowering these days, they will end when frost will start.That may be first or second week of DEC.Then after last week of Dec depending on the frost Petunia will replace the beds & will ends up in June or mid Jully depending on the weather.If nurserymen claim petunia will not flower then what the land scapers will do who planted golds in mass plantation should they throw it to plant the petunias as the nursery men say.

Asslamu alaikum!! Masha Allah very beautiful plantation. Can you please tell me the names of the plants that are used as hedge both in the very back & in the very front, in the first picture? I'd be obliged.
