Add battery water.... 2 ml in 10 litre water

All my pots and lawn have PH around 8. Using battery water to bring it down to 6.
Question springs, how does lower PH benefit the plants and what harm does higher PH cause

Nutrients are available in certain pH range... which is 5.5-6.5

on other pH, nutrients either become unavailable or become toxic....

As izhar sb suggested, use battery water, 2 ml in 10 litre water
