I want to know some beneficial info about motia, because I am thinking to grow motia. now I come to my questions, can I plant motia cuttings now a days?? plz tell me procedure of motia cuttings planting?? thanks

I would suggest that you buy good quality motia (after looking at the flower size and its fragrance) from a good nursery. Motia from cuttings will take long time to flower.

M farroq sb is right and motia is not costly as you know.

"Daab" means propagation by layering. Basically you bury a portion of soft or woody branch (with nodes) of certain plants in the soil and let it grow roots. This can take months. Later on when the buried branch has developed roots, the branch is cut from the parent plant. Many local jasmines, which include motia, mogra, bayla can be propagated by this procedure.

Search layering and you will find tons of good info.

Can you or someone post pic of good quality motia for reference that can be found in local nurseries?
