Another question: i have checked the PH of all the pots and also the lawn and it is above 8. Have been using acid mixed with water to bring it down but still long way to go. Question is, is the soil naturally high in PH and we have to bring it down or it is just my luck to have highly basic soil

Generally all Pakistan soils are alkaline in nature

Will adding ferrous sulfate turn the old yellow leafs green or will it affect only the new sprouting leaves

Only new sprouts... iron is immobile element in the plant...
