I too was taken aback when I saw the size. The bloom in Fall of the Yellow White one was not this big. I wonder if it has to so with the variety? Some other Iris I have have thinner leaves and have not yet flowered which is some 15 months! Granted I transplanted them once from pots to the ground.

Charming, so this is the blooming time for TBI in Lahore, My purpleblue is throwing a new scape.

why you removed previous bloom.....
1.to shape up the plant.........?
2.to induce more flowering...?
3. to increase the size of second flower?
or some other reason.

Any how looking different and beautiful in your garden.
