Ahmed Saheb believe me I have not provided it any extra care. Just let it be in shade and it will thrive.

To the camera and not to the human eye. How to get true colours in a picture? Suggestions please.

Lighting is something which one masters over time in SLR photography. I've been polishing my SLR skills for years now and the one thing I noticed is that for the best light you need to use spot metering. However, in the newer dSLRs of today the evaluative metering has been improved so much that few people use spot metering now, including myself. The point and shoot cameras process the image themselves so its a hit or miss in how their metering interprets the light. For the absolute best control use spot metering and try to pick the meter from the most neutral color in the picture. Also shoot in RAW which is like a digital negative and can be processed in software like Adobe Phototsop. However, do remember that colors will change in varying shades of light, the very reason while fools like me are up very early before sunrise to take pictures of my landscapes and stay till sunset for the deeper darker more rich hues.

For the routine stuff my iPhone does a great job :D and the pictures are respectable enough to be posted on the forum.

I am just using my iPhone camera for these pics. For serious photography I use a Canon EOS 5D MarkIII with Canon L series lenses. My pics in the macro competition was with this camera and a dedicated Canon L series macro lens.

   Kaleem Saheb I think you are saying:

Gul phainke hain auron ki taraf balke samar bhi
Ae khana bar andaz-e-chaman kuchh to idhar bhi

But my small fans are only restricted to me so far and I don't think they will be divided till the recommended duration ie 3-5 years when their flowering potential goes down if you don't divide.
