Just got back from a hectic work trip to the US and was sad so see one iochroma and 3 hibiscus dead, but very happy to see the following blooms......

The Gloriosa are so exotic, I also brought plantii and lutea tubers this time. They have bloomed from dormant tubers in less than 2 months!!!

The vining shrub form of the rangoon creeper. Got it from Abbas Nursery for a pretty penny.....Rs 2000. Fragrant and darker red flowers, close to magenta.

The dwarf buddleia very fragrant also but ruined in rains.

The gloriosa lily are very beautiful but passiflora is even prettier. How fragrant are the blooms of Incense as i have read it is quite fragrant? And how long the flower lasts?

Yes the buddlejas are shy of our rains just like geraniums are.

The passion flower is fragrant but not what I would call intensely fragrant. I think the only intensely fragrant plants are marwa, motia, gardenia and raat ki raani. Rest are good but do not make the entire area fragrant.
