Calla is grown from tuber 3 months back... I dont reside in mid Karachi, I am at the border so there is no water shortage alhamdulillah... we have also done the boring for a well inside, the ground water is just 3-4 feet from the surface and is tested safe for consumption..
The Canna you gifted bloomed well in pots but i divided them for a separate bed inside home.. will share the pics once start blooming..

Gardenia i meant which appear to be very healthy.
I have given up on Calla lillies as they are very unpredictable. Some choose not to bloom and others bloom at unpredictable intervals.

Sunflowers blooming:
Pride of Barbados:
Lawsonia (Mehendi) such a strong fragrance.. could be easily felt within 20-30 feet near the bush:
Gardenia taitensis, single flowered plant, very mild fragrance but extremely hardy of bad soil, high pH... wish it could be used as root stock of sensitive gardenias:
Erythnia crista-gali blooming, favored by sunbirds in my area:
