Summer 2018

There has been a lot of seed sowing in early March... however, sudden rise of temperature has caused havoc on the spring annuals and roses.. seedlings however grew very fast... here is a pic of seed sowing earlier, now they have been transplanted last week... will share their progress too:

Vigna caracalla.. the snail vine on blooms... in Karachi it does not go dormant and as the heat arrives it start making blooms:

Is Mogra different from Motia ?

Yes sir, mogra is known as "Grand Duke of Tuscany" in English... it has bigger flowers which are like miniature roses, fragrance is much intense... however, blooming power is lower than motia...

Then, shouldn't it be closer in resemblance & may be even fragrance to Gardenia. It isn't as common, I suppose- is it ?

It is common compared to gardenia and the fragrance is very different.. flower resembles miniature roses more compared to gardenia..
