Through a trade from USA, the white one are "Getty White" variety and the blue ones are just blue.. it may take longer than 2 years because they were growing well in winters but are slowed down now..

That is great. How are your other agapanthus going, the local ones from rhizomes? Mine are growing good in shade.Izhar wrote:Through a trade from USA, the white one are "Getty White" variety and the blue ones are just blue.. it may take longer than 2 years because they were growing well in winters but are slowed down now..

I didn't purchased them this season (though I ordered them from Awan gardens but they didn't send), my last season plant was dug & chewed up by squirrels.
These seedlings have started producing pups at this tender age.

semi-shade, dry period between watering, very well drained potting mix, small pot initially gradually transfer it into bigger pots. Pups production is also subjected to available nutrients in soil, fertilize your growing plant every week with a balanced diluted fertilizer i.e. 1/2 or 1/4 of recommended concentration.
@ Khabbab bhai: why not!!, the pups are best detached from mother plants after an year growth, during this period they have developed their own rooting systems and able to fend for themselves..
