i used most of the saved seeds from last year spring blooms or volunteer seedling growing here and there.. including Ageratum Hi Tide blue, Phlox, French marigold Bonanza, Gaillardia, zinnias, nicotina, larkspurs, amaranthus, gompherina, salvia st john's fire, nasturtiums etc

Seedlings i bought this season are: Petunia Aladdin orange (it has started blooming, color is not orange but a shade of salmon), Phlox Century mix (it has also started blooming, compact plants and some colors are excellent), Coleus Kong mix (growing very slowly)

I am inclined towards roses this time..

Very beautiful. Verbena has very long bloom season in lahore. It seems that indian dahlia is dwarf or perhaps the picture is taken in such a way.

Very nice Izhar, I think this Indian dhalia shouldn't be less than 12 inches on full bloom I always thought the pink lines developed becoz of frost but I was wrong it's a beautiful verigation and it gets more pink on full bloom .

The dahlia is about 16" tall... i took the pic from above :geek:

This type of verbena blooms year round in Karachi and is available in white, purple and lavender colors... butterflies regularly visit it.. it is an excellent ground cover for sunny areas and roots it self from any node touching the soil...
