Winter and Spring 2016-17 at Gulzar-e-Hijri

Post by Izhar » December 5th, 2016, 2:13 pm

I have completed planting the seedlings almost 80 percent.... some have started blooming too..

This time I have used 'Go-Organic' compost extensively in the flower beds... its 50kg bad costs Rs.800.. with a moisture content of 14 percent it is much better than commonly available gobar ki khaad with 40-50 per moisture ...also Go-organic is free from weed seeds...

These are Cosmos 'Double Click Cranberries' from Sky seeds Lahore and Dahla 'Cactus mix' from Thompson and Morgan UK as on 1st Dec 2016:

Wonderful. How was your experience of heliotrope? Despite all my efforts, they never survived summers for me, although they are perennials in pindi i guess.

Plumeria from Thailand, I bought some plumerias during my trip to Bangkok, Thailand, the white and yellow one has a large bloom and a very different, strong fragrance:

This Pink fuchsia one has no fragrance:
