what a beautiful A.Trumpet.Izhar i love its fragrance in evening.i can not understand why people say its toxic.we plant flowers for ornamental purposes not for eating purposes.my trumpets will flower in June.

I chopped one of my plants, it yielded 6 cuttings... I hope they root...

I think Umar saheb you are right. Toxicity is usually an issue for kids in plants which give berries which are toxic and fear is kids will eat them. Other plants like brugmansia and datura though toxic are more problematic in the west where almost every person has a dog which can eat and get sick. Here I don't think it is that big an issue if they are planted with careful sight selection.

oh yes they are very beautiful Izhar.i,l enjoy my six years plants in hot summer.it will get more beautiful when it reaches 2 years of age.thanks for sharing.

i have 4 dogs.on weekends when i m at home,i usually free range my peacocks when garden is in full of flowers.my pets have never any problem with trumpets.i think they have a sense to judge toxic plants.Ay khan sb i m really enjoying spring these days.the flowers,roses,fruit trees are in flowering.the peacocks are dancing nicely when free ranged.they are like flying roses.

Adnan, one of my plant which i grew from seed may be a double, it formed buds last year but dropped all of them when I opened the immature bud there were 2-3 whorls of petals.. lets see if it blooms this season..

UPDATE: 4 out of 6 cuttings have sprouted, I will wait for 10 days further so that their roots become more developed, before sending..
