Thank you sir, for the correction.It looks, best period to plant them is 15 Nov-1 Dec.I planted mine around 6 Nov in the ground, which are about the same hieght as ur 15 Nov group.I intend planting another lot at the end of the month; hope they too do alright.

Yes sir, but I had the impression that, planted any time they will bloom so in order to get blooms in mid winter I planted them in last week of September.They have completed their life cycle without blooming at all
Next year I will stick to your advice, no more experiments
